Turgeon, Wells on final seconds of game vs. UConn
Potomac (Md.) guard Dion Wiley will sign his letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Maryland during a ceremony at his school on Wednesday, he tells Comcast SportsNet via text message.
The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.
The early signing period for college basketball players begins Wednesday and runs through Nov. 20.
Wiley, an elite shooter, is ranked as the No. 49 overall player in the Class of 2014. He is part of a four-man recruiting class for head coach Mark Turgeon that also includes guard Romelo Trimble, forward Jared Nickens, and center Trayvon Reed.
All are expected to sign letters of intent this week.
The 6-4, 200-pound Wiley played for local powerhouse Team Takeover DC on the summer amateur circuit.
