Nick Faust is closer to picking his next school for the second time since April.
Faust, one of five scholarship players to transfer out of the Maryland men's basketball program since the end of last season, has narrowed his list of transfer destinations to five schools, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman: Saint John's, Wichita State, Providence, UAB and Long Beach State.
The rising senior previously selected Oregon State, but abruptly decommitted when the Beavers fired head coach Craig Robinson.
The 6-foot-6 guard and Baltimore native must sit out the 2014-15 season according to transfer rules. Faust averaged 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season for the Terrapins.
Charles Mitchell is the only other former Maryland player still without a new school. Seth Allen (Virginia Tech), Roddy Peters (South Florida) and Shaquille Cleare (Texas) previously announced their new destinations.
