Mark Turgeon searching for answers after loss to BU
Former Maryland guard Pe'Shon Howard has put together a nice season for himself so far at Southern California, averaging 11.9 points and 4.0 assists per game for new head coach Andy Enfield.
On Sunday, he won the game for the Trojans, sinking a three-pointer at the buzzer to down Dayton, 79-76, in overtime.
From the Associated Press:
After Dayton's Devin Oliver missed a reverse layup with the score tied at 76, USC (8-4) got the rebound and called time out with 4.7 seconds left. Howard took the inbounds pass, dribbled up the right side and let his shot fly over Dayton's Vee Sanford for the win.
