After parting ways with the Cleveland Browns earlier this offseason, former Maryland linebacker D'Qwell Jackson has signed a four-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts worth $22 million, multiple outlets are now reporting.
Of that $22 million, $11 million is guaranteed.
Over the course of his eight-year professional career, Jackson has amassed 824 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and eight interceptions. He led the NFL in combined tackles in 2008 and led the AFC in combined tackles in 2011.
Last season with Cleveland, he finished with 141 combined tackles and 1.5 sacks.
During his time at Maryland, Jackson was named First Team All-ACC in 2004 and 2005.
