LSU, Penn State reportedly continue push for Damian Prince

The arrival of James Franklin at Penn State has immediately made local recruiting battles for Maryland even more crowded. Chief among those is the pursuit of five-star offensive lineman Damian Prince of Bishop McNamara (Md.).

Following Franklin's hiring at Penn State, news of interest between the Nittany Lions and Prince began to circulate. On Wednesday there was more, via Mike Farrell of Rivals.com:

Things get more interesting for Maryland, as well, who had appeared to bring onto the staff a new offensive line coach with NFL experience, Dave DeGuglielmo.

But, after less than a week after the official announcement, news came on Wednesday that he would be leaving the staff to take a job as the offensive line coach with the New England Patriots.
