Maryland will face Michigan State on Nov. 15, 2014, during prime time on the Big Ten Network, the conference announced Tuesday with the release of its slate of featured games for this upcoming football season.

The matchup is one of six games that will be featured throughout the season in that time slot on the network.

Nov. 15 will mark just the sixth meeting between the two schools. Michigan State holds a 4-1 advantage in the series, but the Spartans and Terrapins have not crossed paths since 1950.

Michigan State is coming off a season in which it won the Big Ten title, defeating Ohio State in the conference championship game to deny the Buckeyes a spot in the national title game.

Maryland enters its first season as a member of the Big Ten in 2014.
