Bishop McNamara (Md.) offensive lineman Damian Prince has reportedly moved up his decision date by just over a week and is now set to announce where he will play college football on National Signing Day, Feb. 5, according to Gerry Hamilton of ESPN.

According to Hamilton, Prince will now announce his decision on ESPNU as part of the network's coverage for the day. Prince will choose between Maryland, Florida State, South Carolina, Miami, and Florida.

Prince had previously announced his intentions to make his college decision public on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.

At 6-5, 292 pounds, Prince is rated as a five-star prospect by Rivals.com and the 10th overall prospect in the nation. The ranking by Rivals has him as the second-best player in the country at his position and the best over prospect in the state of Maryland.

For the Terrapins, the loss of fellow five-star prospect Jalen Tabor to Arizona, a decision the Friendship Collegiate (D.C.) cornerback announced at the Under Armour All-America Game on Jan. 2, has focused the attention toward Prince.

Prince, too, was selected to take part in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game, but did not play due to injury.

Coach Randy Edsall and his staff have 14 players currently committed to the program from the Class of 2014.
