Maryland has gone without a vote in the 2014 preseason college football Coaches Poll, released on Thursday, four days before the Terrapins open training camp in College Park.

Among the 25 top votes-getters were four teams from the Big Ten -- Ohio State at No. 6, Michigan State at No. 8, Wisconsin at No. 14, and Nebraska at No. 22. Maryland will play three of those four teams this upcoming season:

Oct. 4 vs. Ohio State

Oct. 25 at Wisconsin

Nov. 15 vs. Michigan State

Four more Big Ten schools received votes in the poll without reaching the Top 25, with the number of total votes received indicated in parenthesis -- Michigan (53), Iowa (49), Minnesota (6), Northwestern (5). Of those schools, Maryland will face two in 2014.

Oct. 18 vs. Iowa

Nov. 22 at Michigan

Another team of note receiving votes was Maryland's 2013 Military Bowl opponent, Marshall, who tallied 27 votes. For the full poll, click here.
