Maryland's five-man 2014 recruiting class is the foundation upon which head coach Mark Turgeon hopes to build a perennial contender in the Big Ten. On Tuesday, the program released the first group photo of the bunch sporting Maryland jerseys since they've been on campus this summer.

In the front row from left to right is wing Jared Nickens and guards Melo Trimble and Dion Wiley. In the back row is forward Michal Cekovsky on the left and center Trayvon Reed on the right.

Cekovsky enrolled in June and began classes at Maryland. Reed is currently recovering from an ankle injury and is expected back between mid-August and when the team begins practice in September.

Wiley also tweeted a photo of his No. 5 jersey on Tuesday. Take a look:
