Maryland has boosted its non-conference schedule by adding a road matchup against Oklahoma State to its December slate, according to a report on Wednesday by John Helsley of NewsOK.com.
Per the report, head coach Mark Turgeon and the Terrapins will travel to Stillwater, Okla., on Dec. 21 for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
The Cowboys would then come to College Park as part of the home-and-home series in 2016-17.
For Turgeon, it would mark a return to a conference with which he is familiar. Before coming to Maryland, Turgeon coached at Texas A&M as part of the Big 12 from 2007-11.
Oklahoma State finished 21-13 last season and fell in the Round of 64 of the NCAA tournament to Gonzaga. Maryland missed the postseason after a 17-15 regular season.
In additional scheduling news, the Big Ten announced in a release on Wednesday that Maryland's conference schedule -- along with the conference schedules of the rest of the member schools -- would be released on Thursday at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
