With the NBA Draft on the horizon and no Maryland players in the mix to be selected, why not take a look back? We went digging through the archives and found an interview between former Maryland big man Jordan Williams and our own Chris Miller.
Williams declared for the NBA Draft in 2011, ultimately being selected with the No. 36 pick. He played 43 games during the 2011-12 season and averaged 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in just over 14 minutes per game.
He played one season with the Nets before being dealt to Atlanta as part of the team's deal for Joe Johnson. The Hawks waived Williams in 2012.
He signed with the Spanish team Bilbao in August 2013, but according to Sportando.com, Williams left the team not long after signing after encountering "serious problems in adapting onto the new team."
