West Virginia transfer and top Maryland target Terry Henderson will visit College Park this weekend, Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com is reporting.

Henderson, who averaged 11.7 points per game last season for the Mountaineers, chose to transfer early last month. According to Goodman, Henderson will also visit NC State. That is slated to take place on June 20.

Maryland currently has two open scholarships after the departure of five scholarship players in the offseason, plus the addition of five freshmen and graduate transfer Richaud Pack.

Barring a waiver being granted by the NCAA, Henderson would be obligated to sit out one season in compliance with college transfer rules.

Head coach Mark Turgeon and the Terrapins are also in pursuit of Georgia Tech transfer Robert Carter, Jr., who would have two years of eligibility remaining.
