Along with Johnson's duties as the network's television beat reporter for the Redskins, she also serves as an anchor for SportsNet Central.

Johnson joined the network in 2004 after working as an anchor/reporter for KSDK-TV in St. Louis for three years. 

Prior to joining KSDK-TV, Johnson spent time with News 8 in Austin, Tex.  A 1998 graduate of the University of Idaho, Johnson was a four-year starter on the women's basketball team and earned All-Conference academic honors each season.
