Kelechi Osemele


One day after being cut by the Ravens, offensive lineman A. Q. Shipley found a home with the Colts, who announced they had claimed Shipley off waivers Sunday.


The preseason is mercifully over, and once the Cincinnati Bengals roll into town in a little more than a week, no one will care that the Ravens were 4-0 in the preseason.


Protecting quarterback Joe Flacco will be a priority for the Ravens on Saturday night, as it always is. The Redskins already have six sacks this preseason, including two by Ryan Kerrigan.


A healthy Kelechi Osemele is one reason why the Ravens are optimistic about their offensive line. Osemele was never himself last season, before eventually undergoing season-ending back surgery.


The competition for the Ravens’ starting right tackle spot is over. Rick Wagner was basically declared the winner Monday by head coach John Harbaugh.
